Abstract:
The association of sarcoidosis with another systemic dysimmune disorder is rare, associations with systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic scleroderma, inflammatory Enterocolopathies and Takayasu disease have been reported, but association with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) has been exceptionally reported in the literature. We report a case off MCTD associated with sarcoidosis. The patient was a 60-year-old, complaining of dyspnea and Raynaud's phenomenon. Physical examination revealed sclerodactyly. Serial CT showed symmetric perihilar, paratracheal, interlobar and subcarinal lymphadenopathy, with diffuse interstitial pneumonia. Autoantibody screening results were positive for antinuclear antibodies, speckled, anti-dsDNA antibody, anti- U1-RNP antibody, and anti RNP/Sm antibody. Mediastinoscopy was performed, with lymph node Biopsy: Anatomopathological examination showed non-necrotizing epithelioid cell granuloma.
