Abstract:
This study reported a case of perforation of the junction of the rectum and sigmoid colon with a perforated surface diameter of about 2 cm due to improper operation of general colonoscopy, and the patient came to our hospital 4 h after perforation, with a history of underlying diseases such as bronchiectasis, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and long-term intermittent administration of oral hormones and Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) etc. The patient was finally resuscitated with multidisciplinary assistance by surgical laparotomy and deflation, and the anesthesiology department performed under anesthesia for high-risk groups and under CO2 air pump-assisted endoscopic perforation repair was performed, and one case was successfully resuscitated to avoid a surgical operation, and the patient was successfully discharged from the hospital.
